The climate network comprises a number of key persons from Danish and international businesses and organisations with special interest in sustainable development

Copenhagen Climate Network (CCN) was founded on 5 June 2007 by:

- Ad Hoc Translatørservice A/S
- Viewpoint Communication
- Waterfront Communications
- Pass On Media
- The Danish Cultural Institute
- Export Promotion Denmark

CCN is supported by International Club Copenhagen.

CCN set up an advisory board with members from climate sciences, politics, the media, businesses and organisations. The purpose of this advisory board is to support CCN’s general objectives and contribute to the public debate in the period up to and under the Copenhagen Climate Summit.

A seat on the advisory board is an honorary post, and members have no financial obligations since CCN is a non-profit organisation. However, any expenses incurred by the members will be refunded.
